Break down the Barriers

Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God, Giver of all that is good, Lover of my soul, my First Love thank You for Your Great Love for me. Thank You for never giving up on me, even in those times that I gave up on myself. Thank You that I never walk alone.

Break down the barriers of my heart and soul, invade every part of my being, so that I may be closer to Your heart. Break my heart for what breaks Yours so that I will walk in Your ways and be Your voice, Your hands, Your feet, Your image in this broken world in need of comfort, grace, peace and mercy.
